“I have been working with Jody for almost a year. I am a lower schoolteacher and an owner of two small businesses. I was overwhelmed, lost in my purpose and direction in my life. Something was holding me back from living the life I wanted. I didn't feel fulfilled as a person and had no idea where to begin figuring that out. Then Jody came into my life and in this short time of working with her, I have grown to be more confident, more loving and accepting person with others and more importantly, with myself. I am getting closer to the life I want. Jody is a perceptive listener and coach. She has helped me navigate difficult moments with self -acknowledgement and acceptance that they happened and forgive myself. And she gave me a safe space to unravel and unpack what some of those traumas meant for me. I have been able to heal from years of guilt and shame. With Jody's coaching, I have found clarity in the stories I tell myself. The stories that have held me back from opportunities or experiences I have wanted. She does it with self-discovery exercises she calls "play" and when you are willing to let go of the awkwardness you may feel at first and go along with it you find that with her guided questioning you have known the answer all along. It was inside you and you only needed to give yourself the space and time to discover it. I cannot believe the positive changes I have made in myself because of Jody's unique coaching. The way that I approach situations is with a more positive self-concept and calmer state of mind. I have also started to develop an awareness of how my emotions and thoughts show up in my body. I know how stress or discomfort shows up in my body now and how to relax. For anyone who feels stuck in their personal or professional life, I would highly recommend that you consider working with Jody. I have made realizations about myself with Jody that I couldn't do on my own. Thank you for everything, Jody. It has been an awakening.” Marilyn A

“Jody is intuitive, caring, and knows how to help you dig into the dark places of yourself to work out whatever has kept you stuck. This was my first experience with a Life Coach, and hands-down I would recommend it over conventional therapy. For the year I worked with Jody, I almost always felt like I was doing intensive work - actually feeling like I was accomplishing digging up my dirt and working through it. The experience was much more tangible for me than the tools used in conventional therapy. Jody has a slew of credentials and years of experience, too. I am glad I chose Jody McCrain as my Life Coach.” Dana W

“Jody is everything you want in a coach, she is kind and patient. Jody asks questions that helped me undo decades of programming from my childhood. My dad was big and scary so I saw all men as big and scary, even my wonderful husband. I didn't want to treat him like he was a threat but I didn't know how to stop trying to protect myself; my responses were so automatic. Jody helped me create space, a micro second, around my fight or flight instinct which helped me undo all my programming that no longer served me. Since working with Jody I have doubled my income, my career is on fire, and best of all my marriage is working at a level I never dreamed possible. I am even a better, more compassionate mother. Thank you Jody.” Maggie M.

“After a few life experiences dropped me into a depressed state, I knew I needed some way out or through, but I wasn't sure how or where to begin. I began working with Jody, and immediately felt a kinship and connection and hope that she could help me out. She asks the hard questions. We opened some wounds. We revealed some weaknesses and blocks. And then we dug in deep, always looking forward, and put tools and strategies in place I could use to keep myself strong and confident. Jody was absolutely key in helping me through one of the toughest times of my life, and I will be eternally grateful to her. She was flexible with her time to work around my schedule, and I always felt I had her full attention. I couldn't recommend her more!” Erick J.

“Jody is absolutely amazing. I did the 12-week program with her and I can honestly say I have become the person I always wished/never thought I could be. She is truly gifted in life coaching, she knows exactly what to ask you/teach you in order for you to depend on yourself, trust yourself, love yourself, and accomplish what you want in life. Her method is different than any other counselor/therapist. She teaches you that the answers you are looking for are within you, giving you tools to achieve what you REALLY want, and how to get there. Once the program is up you feel ready to take on the world. The atmosphere is a very kind, non- judgmental, productive, and acknowledging one. I always left her office feeling excited for my future! I cannot imagine where I would be today without her. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone, she truly is as good as it gets if you're looking for someone to help you change and better your life.” Annie C.

“Jody is great! Intuitive, insightful and supportive. I feel lucky to have been able to work with her this past year. Life coaching is a very practical way to help yourself to move forward, get past blocks and gain perspective on you and your life choices - I was skeptical at first, but now totally convinced about the benefits. And, Jody does an incredible job of listening and guiding, and giving you the tools to make the progress that you decide you want to make.” Nancy W.

“I had a couple of challenging years and Jody was there to support me. When I first inquired about her coaching, I asked point blank how is she different from the various counselors and therapists I could have insurance coverage for? She said a (good) life coach isn't there to work on your problems but to support you toward your vision. Her questions were always respectful, direct, honest, and nurturing. I consider myself a high-functioning, disciplined, intelligent person. But when she coached me to experience life from a self-loving perspective, and when I had no answers to her questions, I knew i found the perfect coach! Our sessions varied between discussions, questions, visualization, and the occasional role-play. And if you want the logistics, Jody limits her number of clients so I always had her full attention. She's also flexible with our hours since she doesn't under hospitals. She even checks on me from time to time.” Ellen C.

“I decided that I needed a direction in my life with coming up to 38 years of being in education as a teacher. I did not have a clear path as to my life beyond the classroom. I decided to seek out a life coach instead of pursuing the counseling route. Jody was the perfect life coach for me. We meet regularly for numerous months. I appreciated her flexibility in her schedule to meet as needed. Jody is warm, nonjudgmental, and a great listener. She asks tough questions and keeps on probing with more questions. Even after our sessions, I would think about the questions she asked me. She is direct with her questioning but compassionate. These last few months have been hard work for me but I now have clarity and sense of direction for myself when I decided to leave the classroom. I highly recommend Jody with Pasada Coaching.” Toni J.

“My first meeting with Jody was a free consultation really just to get to know her business and to make a professional contact for business referral. I had no intention of delving into coaching with her as I didn't feel I had anything needing 'coaching' in my life. Wow was I wrong. Jody is amazing at helping you define your life goals (which you think you have defined until you meet with her), and then highlighting the obstacles getting in the way of achieving them. She is great at helping you navigate your own thought processes to come to workable ideas/solutions that are not overwhelming or (more importantly) biased in any way. I definitely plan to continue to consult with her on a regular basis.” Julie J.

“I loved working with Jody. Jody was able to help me prioritize the most important projects I wanted to move on (three projects we made progress on were related to personal finance, personal fitness, and music) and then help me intuitively discover a path on these projects that resonated with the way I'm wired. One of the strategies we used in our sessions that I loved was "voice dialogue;" through this practice, Jody helped me give voice to aspects of myself and build awareness around how these "different selves" were helping or hindering my various projects. I interviewed many coaches when I decided to pursue life coaching and Jody stood out from the rest. After working with her for several months, I couldn't be happier about my decision. Jody is gifted in many modalities and has a beautiful balance between gently bringing awareness to your blind spots, and getting down to brass tacks to help push you when needed. I'm glad to have worked with Jody and I look forward to continuing to touch base with her in the future!” Dan T

"I worked with Jody at a point in my life where I had retired from one career and was moving into a new phase of my life. Jody was there to help me find a balance with this transition. Jody has a way to ask the questions that you don’t even know need to be asked, yet those questions were spot on in leading me to establish goals and support my inner self as I make my way through this thing called life. Seeking a life coach is a personal decision and one that I’m truly glad I made for myself." Cheryl O.

“Back when I was living in Seattle, I did a series of 10 sessions with Jodi to work on finding the obstacles that were getting in the way of my making some life changes that I had been trying unsuccessfully until then to make. Jodi utilizes a great method for identifying the various aspects of ourselves that are standing as "limiters" in our minds and preventing us from moving through change. Through the insights I gained from working with Jodi, I began a process of clearing those old limitations, and from there forward life opened many new paths for me. I now live in Australia, which I had been dreaming about for quite a while when I first started seeing Jodi. I still use the strategies that Jodi taught me for identifying when a mental story is getting in the way of creating the reality that I desire. I cannot recommend her highly enough!” Kate C

“I was referred to Jody McCrain by a professional I was working with.  She suggested that as a Life Coach, Jody could help me get "unstuck" on a number of issues that had been blocking my personal growth. I had friends who had benefited from working with a Life Coach so I decided to give it a try.
From the very first visit, I was aware that I was where I was supposed to be.  Jody was so easy to talk to and asked very insightful questions.  Her skill coupled with my readiness to get unstuck, led to us "getting traction" after only a couple of sessions. Through voice dialog methods, Jody helped me to understand the motivations that supported the status quo in my life and how to make the changes to move ahead. Although she was willing to go at my speed, Jody always knew when to press a little harder. Our sessions were always productive, goal oriented and ended with me defining my own "homework" assignment to work on.
We worked together for about 7 months and as I write this letter nearly a year has passed.  I can honestly say the changes and progress I made as a result of Jody's insightful guidance are with me still.  The time and resources I invested in working with Jody was very well spent and has given me the results I was looking for.  I know that I will be working again with Jody when I am ready to tackle another hurdle in my life.  I find it difficult to imagine that anyone who chose Jody as their life coach would not find it highly productive.  She is bright, has amazing instincts and is always about getting results.  I highly recommend her services.” Cynthia G
